As a general rule, all cables generally
are available in 6ft and 10ft lengths. Printer cables up to
35ft are available, while SCSI cables are severely limited --
typically 2 meters (or about 6ft) is the maximum. Extensions
may be used with a Male-to-Female configuration for most of the
above styles, however, keep in mind that when extending video
cables, signal loss will occur and can affect quality of video
display by introducing ghosting or other anomolies.
